Vanessa Weiss

Vanessa Weiss coordinates and develops the Network for Arts and Medicine at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, where she works at the intersection of the arts, healthcare, and research.

Her work focuses on developing interdisciplinary collaborations and structures that connect artistic practice, clinical perspectives, and scientific inquiry. She is particularly interested in how the arts can be sustainably integrated into medical institutions, how their impact can be investigated, and what broader societal potential emerges from bringing artistic and scientific ways of knowing into dialogue.

Before joining Charité, she spent 14 years at a Berlin-based innovation studio, working across strategy, project development, and interdisciplinary processes. She began her career in strategic planning and communications.

She studied Society and Economic Communication at Berlin University of the Arts, holds a Master’s degree in Business Psychology, and completed further training in Cultural Management.
