Thaleia Kallianta
Thaleia Kallianta (MA in Drama in Education, UK) has been Principal of the 7th Primary School of Elefsina (2021) and has worked as a teacher in Public Education (2001). She holds a degree from the Department of Primary Education of the University of Athens (2000) and graduated from the Marasleio Teacher Training College (2012).
She contributed to the writing of the 4th Grade Religious Education textbook (EN PLO) as part of the Multiple Textbook Project of the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP). She has received training in Drama and Theatre in Education, puppetry, visual arts, Special Education, and the Systemic Psychotherapeutic Approach.
She has taught at the 3rd Teacher Training Centre of Athens (PEK), presented teaching materials, and delivered presentations, workshops and seminars on integrating the arts into education. She served on the Board of Directors of PASED (2004–2007) and as Head of the Education Department of D. Seitanis’ “Theatro Neon” (2010–2014). She is a trainer at the Centre for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2026).
She is a member of the Hellenic Network for Theatre in Education and the Minos Volanakis’ Friends Association. She has published articles in journals and websites and as a teacher and school principal has collaborated on cultural and educational initiatives with Greek Assitej, Diazoma, Eleusis 2023 European Capital of Culture and Greek National Opera.
