Lex Paulson

Prof. Lex Paulson is Director of Executive Programs at the UM6P School of Collective Intelligence (Morocco) and lecturer in advocacy at Sciences Po-Paris. A mobilisation strategist for the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Emmanuel Macron, he studied classics at Yale and Cambridge before earning his PhD in ancient philosophy at the Sorbonne. His work centers on leadership and strategies for systemic change. He has trained and advised government and business leaders in over 20 countries with a special focus on Morocco, West Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe. Author of Cicero and the People’s Will (Cambridge) and co-editor of the Routledge Handbook of Collective Intelligence for Democracy and Governance, he is currently writing a book on lessons from Athenian democracy for our present crisis. He lives in Paris and Rabat.
