Leor Roseman

Dr Leor Roseman is a Senior Lecturer and psychedelic researcher in the Exeter Psychedelic Interdisciplinary Centre (EPIC). His interdisciplinary research explores how psychedelics transform consciousness from a biopsychosocial perspective, spanning neuroscience, psychology, phenomenology, anthropology and conflict resolution.

From 2013–2023, Leor worked at Imperial College London’s Centre for Psychedelic Research under Professors Robin Carhart-Harris and David Nutt, contributing to foundational research during the re-emergence of psychedelic science. His work draws on methods ranging from fMRI and quantitative research to microphenomenology, ethnography and participatory inquiry. Leor co-developed and teaches the new Master’s degree – Psychedelics: Mind, Medicine and Culture.

More recently, Leor’s research has focused on the relational and collective dimensions of psychedelic experiences, including connectedness, group processes, peacebuilding and collective healing. He is the founder of

, a non-profit initiative exploring how psychedelic and collective transformational practices can contribute to peacebuilding, collective liberation and healing collective trauma, including pioneering work with Palestinian and Israeli communities, and creation of ritual-performance based on this work.
