Leonidas Danezos

Leonidas Danezos is a composer, performer, producer of film / theatre soundtracks and sound designer.

With over three decades of international releases and live performance experience, his music practice combines Eastern and Western influences, improvisation and structure, rhythmic and cinematic immersive sonic environments.

Alongside his artistic work, he develops multimedia educational projects that communicate scientific knowledge through creative methods. He currently serves as Art Director of the Addiction Science Lab at the University of Trento, where he leads multimedia initiatives aimed at public engagement with science.

Throughout his career, Leonidas has dedicated a significant part of his work to promoting the arts and fostering creativityamong vulnerable individuals, particularly young offenders in prison settings, patients in psychiatric clinics, and unaccompanied refugee minors. As the founder of Remedial Sound Creation, he has delivered music therapy sessions for people experiencing addiction, marginalisation and mental illness, using music production techniques to empower them and support their mental wellbeing.
