Jalil Bennani

Jalil Bennani is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in Rabat (Morocco), author of many works, including: “Le corps suspect” (Galilée, 1980), “Psychanalyse en terre d’Islam” (2018), “Un psy dans la cité” (prize Grand Atlas 2013), “Un si long chemin – Paroles de réfugiés au Maroc” (2016), “Des djinns à la psychanalyse, nouvelle approche des pratiques traditionnelles et contemporaines” (2022). Associate researcher at the CRPMS of the University of Paris, he is also a full researcher at the Habilitation à diriger les recherches (University of Nice Sophia Antipolis). He has received, in 2002, the prize “Prix Sigmund Freud de la ville de Vienne” for his work as a whole.
