Maureen Goodman
Maureen Goodman is the Programme Director for the Brahma Kumaris UK and the Brahma Kumaris representative at the United Nations, Vienna.
Maureen has over 40 years’ involvement in inter-religious dialogue and currently represents the Brahma Kumaris on the Board of World Religious Leaders of the Elijah Interfaith Institute. In April 2022 joined a group of religious leaders on a visit to Ukraine as part of the Faith in Ukraine initiative. Maureen is an ambassador to the Peace Pledge to Live Loving-Kindness and Compassion and is part of Dharmic faiths and Christians in Europe: Building Fraternity through Dialogue and Collaboration, organised by the Dicastery of Interreligious Dialogue, at the Vatican.
Maureen has a deep interest in the spiritual and ethical dimensions of climate change and climate justice and the connection between our inner state of being and the state of our Earth. She has led the BK delegation to three UN Climate Change and Biodiversity Conferences.
Maureen is part of the Strategic Circle of the Spirit of Humanity Forum. Hosted by the City of Reykjavik, the Forum creates a safe space for dialogue among leaders seeking to bring love and compassion into governance.
