Adriana Grigoriou
Adriana Grigoriou has been working in the cultural sector for over ten years, holding various positions in cultural foundations, museums, galleries, international art exhibitions and NGOs, such as the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Athens Biennale, Documenta 14, the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna and El Sistema Greece.
In recent years, her work has shifted towards the fields of education and social action programmes. From 2018 to 2020, Adriana participated in the organisation of two editions of the Lullaby Project, which supports maternal health and aids childhood development. As the Educational Manager at El Sistema Greece, she saw firsthand the transformative power of music: to aid wellbeing and create communities.
She is currently working for Community Arts Network, a global platform that seeks to enable, engage and empower individuals, organisations and communities that use the arts for social impact. As the Projects Coordinator, she represents CAN in various programmes such as the Global Artivism Movement and Convening and the Artist in Residence Programme in Tital Utique, Tunisia.
